‘Loyal and kind’ woman killed in crash on the A10 near Littleport

A 40-year-old man from Norfolk was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving

The family of a woman killed in a crash on the A10 near Littleport have paid tribute to her. Susan Folkes, 68, of Black Horse Drove, Littleport, died after the red Ford Focus she was driving was involved in a crash with two tractors, between the Mildenhall Road roundabout and Brandon Creek on Tuesday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tractor drivers were not injured.

In a statement, her family said: “Sue was a much-loved member of our family, and her sudden and tragic passing has left us all shocked and heartbroken.

A 40-year-old man from the King’s Lynn area of Norfolk was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has since been released on bail.
