A Cambridge cocaine dealer has been jailed after police spotted a drug deal. Neighbourhood officers were on patrol in Arbury on 15 March when they saw Elsi Hafizi hand over what they suspected was drugs to a woman.

They caught up with Hafizi in Finch Road and he admitted to being in possession of class A drugs.

As well as 14 wraps of cocaine with a street value of more than £500 they found a mobile phone and £170 in cash.

At Cambridge Crown Court yesterday (21 May), Hafizi, 29, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine.
