Cambridgeshire police reveal numbers of drivers without insurance
Cambridgeshire police are setting new records for catching motorists on the road without insurance.
“Since January 2021, we’ve handed out 2,106 tickets to drivers for having no insurance,” said a police spokesperson.
“It is extremely easy for us to check as you drive past so, please do not run the risk.
“If you’re caught with no insurance, it’s a minimum £300 fine and six points on your licence and should it be referred to court, you could face an unlimited fine and a driving ban.”
