A frustrated resident has scrawled ‘very big hole’ in large, yellow lettering to alert drivers to a pothole in the Fens.

The artistic touch to draw attention to the pothole has appeared  near Wisbech and could be there for a while.

One resident says the pothole “was reported months ago to the county council.
