Multiple cars burnt out in Peterborough after suspected electrical fault

Cambridgeshire fire and rescue said they responded to the incident in Norfolk Street, Peterborough, in the early hours of Thursday.

The fire service was alerted at around 1am and by morning many of the charred remains of the burnt-out cars were still in situ.
Early estimates put the number of burnt-out vehicles as four.
Resident Nigel Truss, who lost his Land Rover in the blaze, told ITV News Anglia: “It was just horrible, really really horrible.”
