A popular Cambridgeshire fish and chip shop is to close today. Eric’s fish and chips on the Abbey Retail Park at St. Ives says it is shutting up shop locally to concentrate on its businesses in Norfolk.

Owner Eric Snaith announced the news today on social media.

“Our food businesses began in Norfolk in 1988, when my mum and dad first bought Titchwell Manor, which I have been running since 2010,” he says.

“Since then, we’ve opened award winning fish and chip restaurants in Thornham and Holt and Erics’ Pizza in Thornham and Norwich.

“Eric’s fish and chips St Ives, Cambridgeshire will open its’ doors for the last time on 5th July after a fun 5 years run by dedicated father and son team Alan and Rhys. With thanks to all our St Ives customers.
